Hung-Wen Lin (林宏文) is an honest and upright journalist who never exaggerates information and always stays true to the facts. To me, he is not only a colleague and a longtime friend but also a trusted expert on Taiwan’s economy and semiconductor industry. As semiconductor cooperation between Taiwan and Japan grows ever closer, Taiwan’s semiconductor sector has become a matter of life and death for the Japanese economy. Whenever I write about Taiwan’s semiconductors, I always reach out to Lin—whether through social media or by phone—for his insights. He never disappoints, consistently providing 100% reliable analysis and answers. I firmly believe he will continue to be the best guide for readers seeking to understand Taiwan’s semiconductor issues.
